Alireza Mounesisohi received his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology, Iran, in 2014 and M.S degrees in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University, CA, in 2017. He is now with the University of California, Davis, where he is currently working toward his Ph.D. in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.

He is now working on automated repair systems for the Self Habitats Optimized for Missions of Exploration (HOME) Research Institute. His research interests include machine learning, machine vision, control, and robotics.
