Bio
Alyssa is a fifth-year architecture major from Colorado currently studying at Howard University. She is interested in residential architecture, specifically affordable housing. She hopes to be able to use architecture to create equity through design and urban planning to uplift communities that have been discriminated against by addressing issues affordable housing placement; access to schools, stores, transportation, etc., construction quality, and so on. She has interned with Urban Investment Partners, the Neighborhood Development Company, Howard University’s Department of Campus Planning, Architecture & Development, and ZGF Architects.
