Diego recently graduated from UC Davis in June 2020 with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and is returning to UC Davis in the Fall to pursue a Masters from the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. His primary interest is in robotics, machine vision, and machine learning. He is currently working under the direction of Dr. Bahram Ravani and is focusing on the development of computer simulations of autonomous robotic operations for NASA's Habitats Optimized for Missions of Exploration (HOME) project.
