Isabella Adekoya is a rising fourth year student in the Master of Architecture program at Howard University. Isabella highly values the innovative power of effective design intervention. During her time at Howard, she has developed a keen interest in biophilic design, vernacular architecture, and social justice through design. Isabella currently holds the position of Chapter President of the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS), where she exposes her peers to professional design opportunities and community development. Outside of Architecture, she enjoys creating portrait collages using a mix of digital manipulations in Photoshop. Isabella aspires to pursue a career as a licensed architect and design spaces that address issues of social equity, fragmentation, and climate change.
