Bio

Jason is a second year PhD student in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering with the Robotics, Autonomous Systems, and Controls Laboratory (RASCAL) under Professor Sanjay Joshi. He received his BSc in Biomedical Engineering and biomechanics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

After finishing research work in gait and prostheses, he went on to work with Ottobock Healthcare prototyping new prosthetic technologies. Now at UC Davis, Jason is working on autonomous decision making methods in human-automation team tasks for the Habitats Optimized for Missions of Exploration (HOME) Research Institute. In his free time, he automates his home, practices power-lifting, and plays with his dog, Vinny.
