Jonathan received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University in 2018, focusing on mechatronic and control systems. Currently, he is finishing up a MS and continuing onto pursue a PhD at UC Davis Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering. He is currently working under the direction of Dr. Lin for NASA’s Habitats Optimized for Missions of Exploration (HOME) project.
Jonathan’s research and personal interests include mechatronic and control systems, system dynamics & modeling, machine learning (computer vision & reinforcement learning), estimation techniques, and robotics.
