Bio

Min is a Masters Student in the Civil and Environmental Engineering department at Carnegie Mellon University. She previously obtained her bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at Columbia University in the City of New York. She is currently working on NASA’s Habitats Optimized for Missions of Exploration (HOME) project, which focuses on creating autonomous space habitats supporting both crewed and uncrewed missions. Min previously was at Thornton Tomasetti working on T2D2, an autonomous damage detector, which uses computer vision and reinforcement learning to classify and locate structural damages on building envelopes.
