Sarah is a Ph.D. student in the school of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Georgia Tech. She received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Wake Forest University with minors in Biology and Psychology. Prior to pursuing her Ph.D., Sarah worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) where she researched analytical method development for clinical biomarkers.

Sarah is interested in mass spectrometry application and instrumentation. Her current research focuses on improving space craft air quality monitoring and fire detection techniques using ambient mass spectrometry.
