Yujie Wei is a Ph.D. student at Carnegie Mellon University, working at the IBM Smart Infrastructure Lab led by Professor Burcu Akinci. He earned a master's degree in Advanced Infrastructure Systems at Carnegie Mellon University in 2017 and a Bachelor of Structural Engineering at Tongji University, China in 2015. His research primarily focuses on reconstructing the digital twin of a facility through reality capturing techniques, such as laser scans and imageries.
